BEWARE of driver job scams. If you receive a text or email from a company you have never heard of offering you a driver contract - NEVER provide your personal information until you have confirmed they are a valid - real company.
We have heard of companies with fake websites trying to get personal information from drivers - pretending they have driving jobs. If a company contacts you offering you many great benefits in an email or text promising a driver job and other incentives - it is VERY LIKELY A SCAM. Sounds good = too good to be true.
HOW TO CHECK
1) Ask them for their company name
2) Ask them for their office address and google it to confirm.
3) Ask for their DOT or MC number - transportation companies should all have one.
4) Go to https://safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/CompanySnapshot.aspx and look up the company name or DOT or MC number
5) Contact CBDriver Support at info@cbdriver.com and send us a copy of the email or text you received showing what information was being requested from you.
