I'm brand spanking new! Just set up an account, so I have a few questions! If I were to obtain a contract, how does the payment work? Some say direct deposit, but does that mean we give our bank information? My second question is, do I need to make my own conpany name?

I did mine through legalzoom.com
They will assist you with your state filing(annual). Just enter the site, use prompts to set up your profile. Then go to LLCs. There you'll find the instructions on how to form an LLC. Having an LLC gives business owners legitimacy. It also sets up a wall between your business and personal assets.
This is an important aspect of business . Especially if you own personal assets such as a home or other appreciating assets such as real estate or other tangibles.
